Amish Recipes: Milk Chocolate-Covered White Chocolate Truffles

This book is about candy — Amish‐recipe truffles.

It's relatively easy to make highly praised Amish-recipe truffle candy, once you learn how. The only "cooking" is when you melt the chocolate.

Will Bontrager was born and raised Amish. These recipes are evolved from a recipe passed forward by his Mom (and included in this book). Flavors for the book are evolved, in part, from Amish childhood memories and conversations with siblings.

The truffle candy recipes in this book are clearly written, for modern kitchens — each recipe tested, tasted, and tweaked to be as perfect as possible and yet easy to make.

Mass-produced store-bought candy may lose all temptation for you after you taste your homemade truffles - homemade candy goodness.

The first recipe in the book (Creamed White Chocolate Truffles) is a step-by-step tutorial. It links to other chapters in the book that talk about how to melt chocolate, the kinds of chocolate to use, how to form the candy centers, and other subjects to help you become really good at making these truffles.

The tutorial embedded within the Creamed White Chocolate Truffles recipe is designed to let you quickly become skilled.

There are 22 truffle recipes in this book. Here are half of them.

Truffles are white chocolate and cream cheese blended together. No stovetop cooking required.

Generally, flavoring is added to complete the truffle candy center.

Then, dip the candy center into milk chocolate. Let it dry until no longer stick to the touch. Pick one up and prepare for a scrumptious experience, a dimension of homemade deliciousness.

Here are images of a few of the various kinds of truffles.

You may become known as THE go-to person for real Amish-recipe truffle candy.

All the recipes are as easy to follow as I could make them.

In addition to the recipes, you'll find information about the kinds of chocolate to use, where to get it, and how to melt it. There are chapters about forming the truffle candy centers and how firm they should be. And more.

There is no cooking to make the candy centers. Mix the ingredients, cover the candy with melted chocolate, and let them dry.

Share the joy of your truffle candy with people you love. And also people you want to impress.
