This is the third volume of the Maim series. The series is placed in the late 1800s in the western USA.
Sadi wanted to be tortured. She wanted to be tortured to death.
In volume 1 of the series, Sadi obtained a promise from Maim to torture her to death sometime in the future. That sometime is now, here in volume 3.
We'll get that story told in the first part of the book. Remember, this is imagination, so it's safe to read.
(Note: This book contains many incidents of immobilizing someone and intentionally paining them for the torturer's high erotic sensations, not always a slow torture to death.)
The siblings, Menno and Maude, helped with Sadi's screaming-painful and deadly, yet friendly, torture.
Those two siblings had wanted to be owned by Maim for months. Yes, as real human property. With Maim having irrevocable titles in hand.
But Maim had been putting it off. Owning humans is a significant responsibility. With rewards, yes, but will it be worth it? The two siblings were as ideal as Maim could imagine a human pair of male and female to be. They loved paining each other. They loved paining others. And, which made them so exceptionally special to Maim, the two were largely masochistic.
Yet, he had hesitated all this time.
With the delivery of Sadi's gift, her highly desired gift of being tortured to death, Maim says “yes” to the siblings.
Menno offers to sell his sister Maude to Maim, which includes title to her personhood. Maude offers to sell her brother Menno to Maim, which includes title to his personhood.
Maim pays them the prices they ask for their siblings.
The deal is done.
Maim's first task is to assist his newly acquired property to get into the headspace of the human property they now are.
Grooming includes operating undercover independently, obtaining information, and torturing to death the primary subject of the investigation. This is a fun story.
Grooming also includes being rented out to a ranch for a week. What happens during the week compels the ranch owners to significantly elevate their respect for human property. It also compels Maude and Menno to further define and assimilate their consciousness into their status as human property.
By the end of the book, Maim is pleased, mostly, with how well his properties are coming along. There is work to do, of course. But the primary hurdle of normalizing their status as property has been accomplished.
The table of contents for the book are chapter titles. The list of titles is intentionally insufficient to infer the story. But the list is sufficient to recognize chapters you have already read. The table of contents should be clickable in your ebook so you can return to a chapter to clarify something or for rereading the whole thing.
